this is very interesting! not only is it a new rendering style, but it also rifs off the asian porn industry. they always pixelate adult graphic content so as not to 'offend' or whatever. Rem comments about the asian porn industry in S,M,L,XL... I remember reading it and will try to find the reference again.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I was about to comment on the multiple levels this image addresses. Justin is right in that the pixelation conjures up not only the asian tradition of pixelating "the good stuff" but also are own ancient experience with smutty images via the intranets. We can all recall a better time of streaming 2meg files over a modem connection. Prepare yourself for my pixel onslaught.
